The widespread natural oxidoreductase enzymes (such as laccase and peroxidases) are able to transform tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA) in natural waters. The product distribution of TBBPA at low concentration (10 nmol L−1) is similar to that of TBBPA at high concentration (10 μmol L−1).
