A QR Code Traceability System for the Aquatic Products Quality Based on Smartphone - Computer Vision Research Group（计算机视觉实验室）

Traceability system is essential for aquatic products quality, especially for fresh aquatic products. In recent years many solutions have been proposed to improve the traceability of aquatic products quality, and they all have applied various emerging technologies. However, different requirements need to be met by customizing the traceability system which depends on different product properties. Hence, a QR code traceability system for aquatic products quality will be proposed in this paper. The system architecture is designed according to the specific requirements gathered in the aquatic products processing. The QR code label is put on each aquatic product as the mediator linking the aquatic products logistic center, retail restaurants and consumers to identify on the basis of Smartphone. The traceability information is designed to be exchanged and used on a web-based system for aquatic companies and consumers, which will be implemented and deployed in the aquatic products logistic center for trial.
